Main Street Pizza
About This Spot
Stepping into Main Street Pizza feels like slipping into a familiar neighborhood nook where the pace slows just enough to savor simple pleasures. Nestled on Ashaway’s Main Street, this unassuming spot carries a warmth that invites both locals and visitors to unwind and settle in without rush. The buzz here isn’t loud—it’s the gentle hum of conversation and friendly exchanges punctuated by the occasional clatter from the kitchen.
The atmosphere strikes a comfortable balance between casual charm and thoughtful hospitality. Whether you’re grabbing a quick lunch or lingering over dinner, there’s an ease in how time moves here. Staff members seem genuinely pleased to see regular faces and welcome newcomers as if sharing a well-kept secret. It’s the kind of place where you can almost taste the care woven into each order, from the fresh crunch of hand-breaded onion rings to the satisfying crispness of a well-loved pizza crust.
What makes Main Street Pizza stand out beyond its menu is how the food becomes part of a shared, grounded experience. Conversations flow effortlessly around plates that offer familiar favorites with just enough twist to keep you curious. There’s room for a leisurely meal as well as a quick, friendly pit stop during a busy day—always paired with that unmistakable vibe of a community gathering spot.
Beyond the flavors, it’s the steady rhythm of human moments that stays with you: a couple quietly enjoying the daily specials, someone popping in for a sandwich made with attentive care, the easy camaraderie between servers and patrons who come back time and again. In Ashaway, Main Street Pizza feels less like a restaurant and more like a comforting extension of the neighborhood itself.

Well worth the visit, pizza was the way I like it, the dough was thicker and crispy.

My husband and I eat here just about once a week. We always check out their specials board before we sit down. A couple of weeks ago, we shared the slow cooked beef stew for an appetizer and W O W ! ! Fabulous! We have never had a bad meal there, which is why we are regulars. Not to mention, the staff couldn’t be more accommodating. It’s our go to home town restaurant.

Stopped to pick up some grinders (subs). I had no wait. I ordered 3 grinders , and they were made in a timely manner. The server was very friendly. Food is always good. I eat lunch here when I'm in the area.
